Hi, I'm  Leila, a reward based behavioural dog trainer based in Sudbury, Suffolk. I work with dogs and their owners to build understanding, confidence and a stronger relationship through kind, practical and enjoyable training.

My own journey into dog training began with Baloo, my German Shorthaired Pointer, who I welcomed into my life in 2023. Like many owners, I had moments where I felt overwhelmed and unsure of what I was doing. Baloo and I had our challenges, he was reactive for a while. I spent a lot of time learning, trying different approaches and figuring out what worked for us.

Looking back, I wish I had someone who could have guided me, reassured me and helped me understand my dog without judgement.

That experience is a huge part of why I do what I do today.

I want to be that person for other owners.

Someone you can turn to when you're struggling, when something doesn't quite make sense, or when you simply want to understand your dog better.

Baloo has come a long way, and I continue to share our journey on social media because training doesn't have to be perfect to be meaningful. There are still days when he's a little whiney, excitable or challenging, but with consistency, understanding and daily training, we continue to move forward.

Our journey has also opened doors I never imagined would be possible. We're now exploring agility and gundog training, with the long term goal of eventually taking part in shoots — something I genuinely never thought would be an option for us a year ago.

And that's what I love about training. It's not just about working through the difficult things it's about opening up opportunities to enjoy life with your dog and discovering what you're capable of together.


My goal is to give you the knowledge, support and confidence to help your dog thrive, whilst making sure you can truly enjoy the wonderful relationship that comes with having them in your life. I want every dog to get the most out of life — developing the skills they need to navigate the world with confidence and feel comfortable in it.

Because ultimately, we don't just train dogs. We support the people who love them.
